it is a virus that operates as a rouge anti-virus program! DO NOT click on it! When you click on it, it installs the virus. Then your troubles only just begin. It will pretend to scan your computer and report that you have tons of virus's and tell you that you have to register and pay for the anti virus program for it to clean your computer. It is all a scam to get you to give them your credit card number. When I see one of these pop-ups i do a ctrl+alt+delete and kill internet explorer that way. Because sometimes the pop-up is configured that if you click on anything on the pop-up, even the close "X" mark, it installs the virus.

Get PC Tools Spyware Doctor. It handles Trojans, Malware, Adware, Viruses, and pop ups. It blocks them (and spyware) in real time, but you can also do all different kinds of scans as well.

Go to http://freevirusprotection-spywaremalware.blogspot... and look for downloads there. It's freeware and that's the best site for reliable spyware free software.

Its malware and if installed it will bug the crap out of you with constant pop ups and really bog down your computer.

If you mistakenly install it you can download and use http://malwarebytes.org/mbam.php to remove it

You have a trojan on your machine that is trying to trick you into buying software, or worse, installing more trojans and spyware. Ignore that pop up message!

Instead, download and install "Yahoo toolbar with Anti-Spy". Then run Anti-Spy.
