I'm sorry, what is this "savings account" or "extra money" you speak of?

We went from having $1,189 left over after all bills (mtg at 800, car at 379, 2 personal loans totalling 300, and all other expenses), to 3 weeks ago having $0 income! After planning a life to allow me to be an at home mom, and hubby supporting us, he lost his job. We are now in a situation, where he will be working part time at walmart, fulltime at the convienient store, 70 hours a week....with me doing 48-60 hours a week of 12 hour days babysitting, with 3 kids of our own under age 5. That is enough to cover our bills and leave us $54 in the hole monthly. Prior to this we were living very nice, without worries. Just goes to show that a decade of planning and living careful can blow up in your face in 1 instant. Dont worry sweetie. Love what you have, cherrish the moments together, and on the bad days, take a drive and know it could be worse. If you hit rock bottom, look up and climb girl.

Two separate savings accounts. One is my personal account, and the other is a joint account with my fiance. It's our wedding fund. It's gonna hurt to drop all that money all at once!
The rest of my extra money I end up blowing on crap I don't need. I have clothes in my closet with the tag still on!

I believe by definition "extra money" would be
reserved for those in Bill Gates level of income
as in:
those that have more than one can spend in
one's lifetime
as for myself, without even the hope of having
"extra" I do try to allocate a bit now and again
to just fun
edit:
as to your list of possibilities...
who's been talking 'bout me?

I've got a whopping $25 in my savings acct. Only because it goes in there automatically on the 15th of the month.

I keep extra money all in one account, checking account. The more accounts you have the more fees you can have.
