It is totally worth it....or I wouldn't be doing it a second time. I suffered from Hypermesis Gravedarum - extreem morning (all day) sickness. The constant throwing up made the "normal" pains so much worse, I thought I would die. By the time I was about 12 weeks I had been in the hospital twice for dehydration, and was finally medicated. Yet, here I am 7 weeks and 4 days with my second, and again, sick as a dog. But there is such joy in me when I hold my daughter, and when she is silly, or crazy, even when she is a little demon. Loving her so much has mad me crazy to love another. Hang in there, that first snuggle, the first smile, it is worth all of the suffering. Give up a year to gain a lifetime.... Best of luck to you.
