I often find myself just amazed at how many things had to happen to shape our current state of affairs. I'll walk down a hallway at school at stare at the tiles on the walls and wonder where they were manufactured; then I'll just think how crazy it is that I, a woman, is living in an age where I can walk around in a safe building with books and notebooks full of words in a language largely developed across an ocean strapped to my back - and go to classes, classes taught with knowledge compiled over centuries of years. I'm wearing pants, a shirt, sweater, listening to music on a phone (incredible technology)- none of that was manufactured close to my house- how insane is it that I can have all of these things and its just normal? Other times I'll think how Earth is just some random rock in an infinite universe and it has life forms with a culture so convoluted and complex that they often people don't even think about it. Speaking of that, the way humans interact and treat each other is so crazy too. Like, why do we as a species have such a desire to make others suffer? Our history is so full of baseless hatred, and its all so pointless. I mean, the fact that Earth is even capable of supporting life is like so insane yet it's a struggle for humanity to not destroy itself with manmade weapons; in an infinite universe, our biggest and most immediate enemy is each other- wat. I could go on and on... (seriously I've barely scratched the surface) Anyway, do other people do this too?

I feel really moody and upset. I hate pads so I tried a tampon and it was A LOT better. Is that weird? Anyway I really need some advice this is really overwhelming.

I never liked spiders but I was on Instagram just now and there was a pic of a spider and my stomach felt like it was flipping over then I searched pics of spiders and started to breath faster why am I suddenly afraid? I used to think spiders were cool and now I'm terrified!!! It was so sudden whats wrong with me!?

I feel a cold coming on and I really want to stay home tomorrow no tests just a lot of drama my parents r both doctors so its really hard to stay home also NO THROWING UP I have braces and its awful but I'm already in bed and hiding my ipad so nothing to advanced

I'm doing great in all my classes (high honor roll) and my class is always sick! Seriously my BFF is sick too but my mom freaks out at how much school I miss I half to stay home tomorrow my little sister had strep on Sunday and I think I'm catching it but BOTH of my parents are doctors so I need help

My sister has it and my throat just started hurting and I'm very tired i accidentally drank from her cup when she was still contagious

my throat has been hurting since wednesday but my parents (r docters) say its nothing. i feel exhausted and nauseous after school and have to stay home tomorrow. Please i know im stupid for this but i have to i feel so awful right now.

I haven't had one yet but lately everything seems to be awful. I. Get so angry at my teachers and everyone seems to have it in for me I mean I wasn't there and this ***** teacher said it was my fault!!!! I was supposed to find her or something. We have her class once a week and we NEVER do anything. But sometimes I feel awful and depressed like nothing is cheerful. Or randomly want to kick and scream. I have to share a room with two younger sisters!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NO privacy! Also I started puberty but haven't gotten a period yet

i was just on vacation after winter break and havent seen my friends for 10 days i told them i was getting glasses but no one has seen them its always awkward coming back from school like this (on a THURSDAY) but i dont know what they will think. the boys always make ridiculous comments or refrences i dont get (i came from a sheltered background). im super nervous!

There is this guy I like and my friend likes him too. He likes me I'm sure but I don't know how to take it to the next level. I talk to him at math (we sit next to each other) n talk about football (well, I try) he's so nice and funny n I stick up for him whenever I can and he gives me compliments were doing hockey in gym and he said I was as good as one of the jocks (it's probably true I've been playing since I was 3) but any tips?

when i read up close i relax my eyes and everything gets blurry. I went to the nurse and she told me i needed glasses. i told my parents (who both wear glasses) this and my mom said they'd look into it. Well, THEY HAVEN'T!!!!!!!!! it's winter break and school is starting soon, and would like to be able to read! Any suggestions?
