Eyesenk and Cattell are big names in the area of trait personality research, and have some of the most widely known theories today. Jung and Freud were pioneers in the area but their ideas are now pretty dated. The 'BIg Five' traits are also a big part of contemporary personality research, but I'm unsure of what exactly you are asking here..
