(4+1/12) -8 / 3/4... PLEASE help! Please!?

(4 + 1/2) -8 divided by 3/4...

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong! Thanks!

Update:

it = -6 7/12, but I keep getting something else!

Update 2:

So instead of multiplying 8 by 49/12 I subtract it? Is it b/c it says "-8"? If it were -8 (4+1/12) would I multiply it?

    ( 4 + 1/12)

    LCM 12

    12x4 + 1 = 49/12

    - 8 / 3/4 = - 8 x 4/3 = -32/3

    49/12 - 32/3

    LCM = 12

    49 - ( 32) (4) = 49 - 128 = -79/12 = - 6 7/12

    (4+1/12) -8 / (3/4)

    = 49/12 - 8 *4/3

    = 49/12 - 32/3

    = 49/12 - 128/12

    = -79/12

    = -6 7/12
