Where can I find a beer historian?

I want to make some of the ancient beer recipes and cold do with finding a historian who has made them before - But where do I start looking? Books, TV shows and names would help.

    Search for Michael Jackson (the beer hunter, not the other one), Roger Protz

    some time ago someone grew Egyptian grain and brewed beer from it see -

    Apart from that, contact the local, established culinary school and see if anyone there knows someone.
