He will get more than $8 mill form the capitals that is for sure. He is really underrated I think, he probably more important to the capitals than ovie is for his play making abilities as well as his strength on the puck and his play in the defensive zone... not to mention his health, he has never missed a game.

Absolutely, although I don't agree but someone would probably pay him 8mil a year on a long term contract(5+years), especially if Ryan Kesler can get 5mil.
