how do I install flash player to win 7 pro without it crashing?!?

Is there a simple explicit set of directions to follow that will work I'd really like to use youtube without it crashing because Adobe flash has not come up to 64 bit compatibility .

Update:

when to HP support and reinstalled default Internet 32-bit and now it works .

found I needed a 32-bit browser that works on a 64-bit OS which I had inadvertently deleted. I took a couple hrs of recovery effort.

    Install Flash from this location:

    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If you've already installed it, remove it with this ( http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/cur... ), reboot and then install Flash again from the previous link.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 on one of my systems and have no such problems. You might want to use Firefox as well. Better than IE :-)

download flash player from the link below but do not get the beta version and save it to your desktop then run the setup to install flash player. the one at the link below claims to support 64bit windows 7 ?
