How do you find online college courses?

I DONT need a degree online, I just want to take some course that my university doesn't offer..

I know that I would have to have the course approved by the school I'm attending.. but how do I go about finding the courses? I tried searching for some over the web but I just got confused on whether they were actual online courses or if they were actual classes that you attend..

(I'm looking for online courses about Zoology, Wildlife Ecology, or Animal Biology)

Thank you

Athabasca University has a wide range of online courses. The school, though located in Canada, is regionally accredited in the USA, and credits will transfer.

First off, online college is a dangerous thing in some instances. Many online colleges' credits will not transfer. However, you may find that your local community college offers courses online. Even so, you are probably too young at this time. Most early college credit programs require you to be a junior. However, once you are old enough, if you're not already, it might be a good idea to look into taking night, summer, or maybe online courses through your community college. Make sure your dad isn't just being a typical proud parent to think that you're so advanced you need to start college so young. Chances are you can find courses (AP and honors) to take at your high school that will challenge you and even give you college credit (AP).

Whatever course you choose make sure the college is regionally accredited by the U.S. Dept. of Education. I've used this site many times for course and degree searches:

Also this, but mainly for complete degree programs:
