Is Craigmore a real place in Scotland?

I watched my fave episode of Sea of Souls and one story is set in a small village they call Craigmore (I'm not sure of the spelling as it's not shown) and I just wondered:

A. If it was a real place and

B. If it's set there.

It looks to be a small village by a large loch. I have tried googling but when I'm not sure of the spelling either it's hard.

    A. Yes, it's a tiny place that's now a part of the town of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

    B. Don't know, but unlikely that the production company would lug stuff all the way to Bute if they could film it on a lochside somewhere else.

Source(s): Been there several times to visit distant relatives.
