toshiba or hewlett packard laptop?

I'm buying a new laptop, and choosing between the HP Pavillion dv4 and the Toshiba Satellite U505

Does anyone out there have one of the computers or a similar one (or one by the same brand)? Could you tell me how well you like it, and if you've had any problems?

The HP Pavillion is here:

And the Toshiba Satellite is here:

They're very similar, and i'm trying to choose between the two. Thanks for your help!

Well goin by the price and the specs, I will recommend the HP Pavillion. Better processor, larger screen, better display. The toshiba offers more hard disk space but at 320GB, the pavillion has more than enough space for all your files. plus hp comes with a good deal of bundled software and good support and reliability - I have 2 of them and I love them

The hp has better specs such as better CPU, the hard drive is faster, larger screen, and some other small advantages. The toshiba has a larger hard drive. So i think the hp is better.

I prefer HP laptops. I bought one in 2000 and used it daily until 2006. so they last and are well built

  • Out of those, I'd go with the HP laptop.

    Toshiba # 1: http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/home.to

Buy direct and save, compare spec.'s, features etc.
