Where/how can I find a value guide for tobacco pipes? Kind of like a blue book for pipes?

Update:

I have a pipe, stamped on it are the words "beachcomber" and "ITALY"

Do you have any idea where I can find the manufacturer online? I've been looking and can't seem to find any information!

There are a number of different publications that can be used but none of them cover every pipe ever made. Google "pipe collectors guide" and you will find a good number of them. Be advised that you might spend a lot of money on a book only to find out your pipe is worth five bucks.

The cheap way to go is to do a search on eBay once a day. Sooner or later almost every pipe will show up there for sale.

Italy made, and still makes, a lot of pipes. Some companies have gone out of business and others have been bought out by their competition. You may or may never know who originally made the pipe. I have seen the term "beachcomber" on a pipe before but I have no idea who really made it or it's worth.
