which car would be the better for private hire job vectra hatchback or astra estate?

reliability,space and running costs.

    Estate - taxi rank opposite work very very rarely has a hatchback parked on it! And go diesel.

    Peugeot 406 HDi SW, seems to be the choice in my part of Warwickshire followed by the Citroen Berlingo - more van than car but really versatile

    well its differant up here,

    they only use hatchbacks you never see a estate taxi car

    but like the answer above me, make sure its a diesel model
