Apples
Banana
Orange
Granola Bars
Horizon Non-refridgerable Organic Chocolate Milk (i get it in BJ's might be in other whole sale stores,
it sounds weird but tastes great)
Crackers
Fruit Rollups (not healthy but a quick snack/dessert for after lunch)
Anything nonperishable and does not require a fridge, all of the things above are food items i might bring to my ambulance bay when on call. Another important thing to think about is if the food is able to be eaten fairly quickly in case they have a call when he is eating.

Any type of fruit. Veggie sticks w/ dressing- either get shelf-stable dressing or keep in a lunch bag with one of those blue bags that you freeze. Cheese and crackers. Lots of individual snack items at the store- put those can get pricey after a while. You can mix up sandwiches by using pitas or tortillas.

Yeah, REAL FOOD, bananas, apples, red pepper, celery, carrots, nuts, eggs how hard is this Mom? REAL FOOD is what's healthy, NOT the crap that's pre made, not the crap the grocery stores sell, REAL FOOD ya know the stuff GOD put here for us to eat!

Peanut butter or cheese crackers. Nutri-grain or Granola bars. Anything that is individually wrapped and non-perishable would do.
