Best new psp/ds game for boy under 10?

I dont want to get him something lame but i dont want to get him something too hard that he cant play, and i have NOOOO Idea. He just got both systems and he got the few games he asked for, now i'm just trying to get him new stuff.

    Pokemon, may be a little complicated at first, but I got the hang of the originals when I played it when I was 10, you will be doing him a favor. he will love it
