No, it is against Blizzard's terms of service, if you are caught you will be banned.

Seriously, don't do it. I did it and I got banned. Everything is lost, even your subscription. You have to create a new account. Like the previous poster said, if you don't want to farm, then you probably should just find a new game because most of the game takes place farming for gold or grinding for levels. Also, don't Power Level either, that is also against WoW terms and conditions. They may not ban first time offenders, but I really wouldn't risk it.

It is illegal and if caught, your account will be terminated. No warnings or anything.
No it's not ethical. There are plenty of easy ways to acquire gold in WoW ever since WOTLK was released. Try googling or asking in the friendly sections of the official wow forums.

As far as I know there are no rules against this, but as most know the admins on WoW are ban crazy for anything, so be careful and discrete about it in game, I don't know all the info on the game, but if an admin asks about the gold transfer just say you helped him on a quest or something...
