I have a new windows 8 gaming laptop and am having lag issues because of my router.The modem is working perfectly.

My question:Which router(s) should I consider? I want dual-band and gigabit(if that's the right word.)

The computer(s) are all on the main floor,in a modest sized house.

Which is the best? I don't play console games on any of my TV's.

I just got the new Jeep yesterday,with 6 speakers installed.I can't find on the unit itself how to get the sound bar speakers to turn on.And there are no instructions in the paper manual or on the DVD.I got the standard stereo,no Sirius or touch-screen.Just the basic unit.

How expensive is it to replace sub-flooring?I discovered in my downstairs bathroom,that the toilet was leaking and water seeped into the lino and then into the sub-flooring.

So I definitely need new lino,but is it terribly expensive to have a new sub-floor put in after the floors are completely dry??

I have authorized my iPod on both my computers.I have a lot of purchased music I want to put on my iPod,but I cannot sync the new songs on either computer.They are in both libraries on the computers,and play when I hit "play," but will not upload. I have uninstalled,re-installed and rebooted my computers.The 1170 songs are right there back in both libraries,but nothing happens when I hit "sync.": However,my iPod shows "iPod synching;do not turn off."But nothing is happening!!!! Helllllp,please!!!??

how do you open the battery compartment for the Wave??Every google hit lead me to other users who had a hard time opening the battery compartment.But none of them explained how it opened.Is it under the color,or does it open down the middle??

My video card and system in general far surpass the requirements to play GW.However,in certain areas,especially Old Ascalon,the graphics get all screwed up,and parts of my character and my team,and the environment are just blanked out.Not blacked out. Which settings should I mess around with to get rid of this most annoying problem?? Thank you to all who respond.

I love RPG's,and when I play them at home(not online),I am pretty good at all of them.But I have never done an online game before,and am wondering how new gamers are treated? Are there special clans/factions,etc. that are for senior gamers?I'm 60/F,and just love killing monsters and doing quests.

Anyone know who composed a modern orchestral work that might be called"Progressions and Flourishes?" It was composed within the last 20 years,I think,by a professor of music at a college in the Midwest.I am not exactly sure of the title,but I'm pretty sure one or another of the words I gave is in the title.It is a great piece,ala "Bolero," by Ravel,in that it increases gradually into an exhilarating conclusion.(It is not sensual,but just flat-out exciting)

When I purchased my ancient clubs a lot of years ago,the guy at the golf shop watched me hit a few and told me I should get men's clubs.So I did. I'm 5'3",and the clubs I bought weren't too long for me. I hit a pretty long ball(My tee shots are usually in the 225-250 range).But now I am almost 60,and I want to know about the difference in flex, in ladies v. mens clubs. Also,I have seen "senior" flex.
