Does anyone here miss Sally Jessy Raphael?

I liked those red-framed glasses...they're not stupid...thought they complimented her face and style. When I lived in Connecticut, and she taped her show at a tv studio in New Haven, I went to a bunch of shows....always interesting. The last I heard about her was when her daughter died tragically. I assumed this tragedy must have made her depressed,and that's why she's been out of the spotlight.

No. Her show was just a little fish in a big pond and ended up getting devoured. Also to be honest, she wasn't that smart of a person. I saw one episode in which a thirteen year old girl was screaming at her mother that she (the mother) needed to dump her boyfriend because he punished her. The little girl said it was me or him and Raphael sided with the daughter. (Never mind that all the boyfriend did was ground her after she (remember 13 years old) ran away and was caught with a large amount of illegal narcotics. She was just a hack.

Sally is a terrific lady & probably should be back. BUT I miss Ricki Lake.

No, not really. I liked her glasses by the way. They were her trademark. She was interesting. She was nothing like the other ones on tv.

I thought she was much better on the radio.
