1997 Saturn SW2 upgrades?
I have this 1997 saturn sw2 with the dual cam/ 16 valve, I occasionally race other kids with it. It has a lot of power for its size as it is, but there is one jack @$$ who thinks is 1994 ford escort is so much better than mine. I raced him one and beat him but he thinks he still won because I had to stop and turn around to get home. I was wondering if there are any mods or upgrade I can do so I can blow his @$$ out of the water so there will be no dispute over who won. Any tips would help, thanks. I know alot about cars already so I can do anything you suggest myself, I am open to any suggestions, I would also appreciate not being told to get a different vehicle as I cannot afford one at the moment.
Of course I already changed the intake on it, i put in a K&N Typhoon Air Intake System on it.

street racing will get your car impounded or someone killed. you need to stop and take it to the track. besides, he cant claim he won if his timeslip says otherwise.
that aside. best bet is to look up a saturn forum that has a performance section.
there might actually be a turbo kit designed for your car but I cant honestly think of any off hand as saturns arent normally big in the import type scene.
you'll probably have to whip out the welder and fab up your own turbo kit or just toss nitrous on it and hope you dont blow a piston with too big a shot.

You didnt indicate which mod you have on your car. If you know a lot about cars already, you probably would have done this to your car but in case you did not. Usually the easiest and most standard mod one would do for performance, I can think of, cold air intake or catbacks as they are the most affordable mods ranging anywhere from $100 to $1000. (Catback takes much longer and more effort than CAI) Unfortunately, they will not be enough to make significant changes to the speed of your car. meaning it would only increase horse-power by 5-10 at most. If you are really dedicated and willing to spend a fortune, you COULD get a heavy modification like turbo, but since the SW2s only carry 125 horses @ 5krpm, I wouldn't recommend it.
If you were talking about modification exteriorwise, there aren't any out there.
