the golden rule is the rule to live by.....be honest... WHAT ARE YOU ABOUT! ....( granted none of us are perfect, not claiming to be.)

The analogy is comparing the fruit of the tree to the fruit of a Christian. Most assuredly the golden rule applies. We should always treat others with love and kindness when it is possible. But I believe the fruit bearing Jesus wants from Christians is to help bring more people into the Christian faith through witnessing and educating about Him..

I am a fruit tree with many scions grafted onto a good root stock. That is, I produce a variety of seemingly unrelated fruit from a single tree.
