Who do you admire? I was asked a few days ago and found it to be an excellent question.?

Please choose a living and a deceased person and why?

PS> My answer after a long moment of thought was Andrew Jackson. He came from a meager family and rose to accomplish great feats.

Living: Stephen Hawking. I don't think that there are many people today who can succeed so well at what they do under such adversarial conditions as he has to cope with.

Dead: Galileo. Birth of modern science - hard to beat that.
