In your community, are you finding art in he schools is quickly disappearing due to economic cut backs?

What do you feel we can do to bring art to our children so they become art aware and perhaps become interested in art or become an artist? Would you volunteer to show children how to look at art and to do hands on art activities with children?

my dad is an art teacher, he just got "cut back"

therefore he is no longer a teacher, but because he rules he's been given the post of "artist in residence".

The pay is not good, though.
