What should I get to fight hair frizz, a serum or a hair moisturizer?
I get a really frizzy hair when I visit humid places and I am about to go to one so, I am debating on what should I buy a hair moisturizer or a serum.I don`t know what would work at a deeper and more effective level.
Any advice?

A moisturizer add moisture but really does little to control frizz. Bumble and Bumble has a great product that controls frizz and adds shine like no other product out there*. It contains 5 different silicone's to help tame the cuticle of your hair even in the most humid conditions, and it does not build up on your hair, it is amazing! Go to their website and find a salon in your area that carries their products. Any cosmetologist working there will be able to show you how to use it and recommend something different if they don't feel it will meet your needs.
Good Luck!

Bree- Gave some good advice. Redken smooth down, is a great line, not as expensive as bumble and bumble and easier to find. I do carry Redken in my salon, but for humidity, nothing compares to B&B.

Well you might need both. I used a volumizer, I know sounds wrong, but it is by Loma's and it is called Intent. It doesnt volumoize actually,it is a cream and I use it on wet hair after washing. I swear it tames like no ones business. Best product I ever found. Now aside from deep conditioning and keeping your hair moisturized I like oils now. Same consistency as a serum because its mixed with some stuff. Moroccan oil is fabulous. I used DermOrganics oil because its more pure than the Moroccan Oil brand and as a bonus its much cheaper. You can use it on wet hair. Combine it with your Intent and then on dry hair you can put a little in for touch up. It will impart shine and smoothness. You can find both of these at salons and/or beauty supply store. Upscale ones not Sallys. In a pinch you can go to sleekhair.com. They are good. No fake stuff and they have the DermOrganics. Please dont get one of those keratin treatments or do anything crazy. Just use these products.

I have a frizz problem too so here is what i like that has worked: bed head after party is so great it just smooths down your hair after it is already dry. But my fave and what i am using now and swear by is redken smooth down line. Shampoo conditioner and treatments are all awesome! It is worth the money. But if you don't want to have to put out that much then try dove frizz therapy or herbal essences none of your frizzness. But i do believe in you get what you pay for and redken rocks! You should at least checkout the line :) hope this helps it sure helped me!
