What movie is it where a dog appears every time something bad happens?
I might be getting that wrong, but I seem to remember a movie where a motif involves dogs in every scene of a certain type. I'm aware of the oranges motif in The Godfather, and this is similar to that. Can anyone think of what I'm trying to remember?
Could it have been one of the Sergio Leone/Clint Eastwood "Dollars Trilogy" films? I seem to remember it being something like that. I can't find anything on it, but maybe it was The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - can anyone find anything on a dog motif in that film?

Probably something by the Coen brothers, maybe O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)

Remember when Harry keeps seing the big black dog, and its an omen of death?
