Grout Experts - what's a good cleaner for colored grout?

I have a tiled floor and would like to get the best grout cleaner you can buy. The grout is a medium blue and I would like to bring it to its original look.

I should have been cleaning, polishing and sealing the grout once a year but I've neglected to do so.

    To a spray bottle, add

    1/4 cup baking soda

5 tablespoons ammonia (1/8 cup plus 1 tablespoon)

    1/8 cup white vinegar

    2 cups of water

Step 2Put on the top and shake the bottle. Then spray the grout. Get it good and wet.

Step 3Use a scrub brush to scrub the grout. The dirt should be lifted fairly easily. Rinse well with water, and let dry.

Step 4If your grout has not come clean, you may need to get yourself to a home improvement store like Home Depot, where you can rent a steam grout cleaner.

Step 5Once your grout is clean, you will probably want to apply a coat (or two) of grout cleaner. Follow the label directions for applying it. The sealer should help keep dirt from lodging in your grout.

    Have fun!~
