How much do Mouse Ears cost at Disneyland? How about the stitching?
I want to get my kids some personalized Mickey Mouse ears while at Disneyland. I just want the simple black ones with the stitching for their names. Do you know how much they cost? How about the stitching?

Having the names embroidered on the hats is $2 unless you want it done in a really fancy print, then it costs more. Purchasing the hats is $8-$16+ depending on the options that you use. The really great thing is now they have "make your own mouse ears" and you can pick the color, size, mix n match the ears, choose patches, etc. It's a very cool and personalized way to commemorate your trip to Disneyland.

They start at about $12-$13 for the Adult sizes. But can go up to about $20 for the fancier ones. Most but not all Ears can have your name put on them. On the ones that can you can get your name embroidered on the back for no additional cost with the basic font and thread. If you want different fonts, additional things such as a date or different color thread you can do this for $7 per line. They also have Build-Your-Own Ears at the "Five and Dime" shop in Toontown. These you pay for the pieces individually, and depending on how many pieces you get you could be looking at $20+. These include things such as the base hat, ears, Iron-On Patches or additional embroidery.

They sell mouse ears at basically every shop. The basic adult pair cost about 8 dollars. It's a little less for child and infant sized. The really fancy ones are usually around 16 dollars. To get your name put on them, it costs two dollars, but there are only two places you can have this done. One is at the Magic Kingdom. It's in the hat shop that's connected to the Confectionary on Main Street. The other place is at Disney Hollywood Studios. It's located in one of the shops as you enter the park.

According to the Disney website, for a pair of mouse ears it's about 12 dollars for the plain black ones and 5 dollars for the embroidery. I know this is coming from the website but I don't think it would cost anymore that what they are advertising on their site.

EDIT: And I belive you can get then embroidered anywhere at one of the hat shops in Disneyland.
