I need to create a invitation in Photoshop CS3, what is the ratio I will need for sizing my invitation?

I'm pretty good with Photoshop, but I need to know how many pixel will equal one inch when I print. My question may be unclear. Sorry.

Well actually in CS3 you can just change the setting from pixels to inches, just when you set the image's preferences it will have the box for the dimensions and next to it will say pixels, it's a drop down box. Just click it and select inches, add the appropriate dimensions and there you go.

    Hope I helped :)

When you are in Photoshop just change the settings from pixels to inches.

Also another thing you need to know Lee is the resolution, if you are printing them with a professional printer you need to call them and ask them what is the resolution they require to achieve maximum results. It usually ranges from 250-350 dpi. If you are printing it at home find out the max dpi that your printer can produce and set your resolution in photoshop to that to get the best results.

I wish I knew what kind of invitation so I can be of more help .. but for starters here is a link to Google where you can download some .psd's and use those.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-...

If you where more specific I can help you with the exact template you need.

but for creating an invitation you are going to print I think what you meant was Resolution and the best for that type of work is 300 dpi..you can set that when you create a new document.
