Some good snacks i have found, are: SUN CHIPS!!! Beef Jerky(not that unhealthy at all), Special K cereal (sugary and healthy) , Sweet corn, Watermelon or berries. (delicious). honey nut cheerios, any fish Try lunch meats too, some honey baked turkey slices are way healthier than zebra cakes, also celery and ranch, or any other veggies and dipping sauce. Just make sure not to over do it with sauce.

If you do go for the real sweet ho-hos, twinkies, etc section, get the guilt free version, or low cal/fat free/ sugar free kind. It will help alot.

Also, Try to do this.... it works for me:

1:When you get a craving.... Chug a bunch of water before hand, like try a large glass of milk, and maybe add in a piece of bread. The bread will soak up water and take up more space... so when you DO snack. Youll be full after only a little bit.

2: When you eat whatever your eating, Only fill a small bowl. If you have to go back, then fine, But it will trick your mind into thinking you ate more. (example: Wow.... i ate 4 bowls)

3: Chew the food for an extended period of time`, this also tricks the mind into thinking you ate more. I Read this in a health magazine. ***INstead of eating handfulls or a bunch at a time, Put 1-2 pieces in your mouth and savor them, enjoy every second and let whatever it is melt in your mouth*****

4: When you shop for stuff to munch on, Check out the calories and fat and then compare this to the relevant size of the snack. Ask yourself: Is it worth it to eat this and possibly be more hungry? Sometimes i will get guilty when doing this and pick something else.

5: When your at the grocery store, Try to skip buying the snacks, Promise yourself youll get them when you have the craving. When it comes down to that time, you might not want to go out, or stores might be closed, resulting in you haveing to munch on something healthier.

    6. Dont snack while playing video games or watching television! Or pay attention while munching. Often we will get distracted while snacking and by the time a commercial comes around, or a pausing point in the video game we are playing, we have eaten half the box! lol. Its a real bad habit.

    7. IF you have to get chips. Get healthier ones like Sun-Chips!! They are good and good for you!

I was asking myself the same questions about a year ago and am doing much better now. This is really a routine i developed myself and it is paying off. Now i seem to hate cake, and really sugary stuff. If offered something real bad i seem to get disgusted. You may think this will never happen, but youd be surprised! I HOPE THIS HELPS!! Good luck fellow muncher!

From some pharmacys you can purchase Chocolate with no sugar . When i first heard about it i was like yuk there is no way im eating that. But its really good. and doesnt make you feel guilty. Yes your not stopping cravings but it helps. Also if you eat more protein such as ham eggs etc about 100grams everythree hours your body will start to get fuller faster ;) Hope this helps.

You could designate each night of the week to a theme... Monday - Taco night! Taco kit, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sourcream, ground beef or turkey, salsa and chips Tuesday - Italian feast Homemade or store bought sauce, any type of pasta, loaf of crusty bread, salad and a nice red wine Wednesday- Breakfast for dinner Anything you love to have for breakfast! Waffles and sausage and fruit salad or make a nice frittata Thursday- Soup and sandwich night Bear Creek has some nice make at home soups in a bag- just add water.... toast up some rolls and pile them up with your favorite fillings Friday- Stir Fry night! Fresh broccoli, onions, carrots, garlic stir fried with your shrimp, chicken or beef. Saturday- eat out with your honey :) Sunday- Crockpot night Plan a crockpot dinner- my fave is beef aujus sandwiches Basically, if you plan your meals out for a week at a time- use the internet for recipes if yo uneed them, you just make your grocery list from your plans and buy what you need for the week.

Eat natural food that is high in protein and lower in fat. Don't eat ANY sugar. I buy reduced fat mozzarella cheese sticks from walmart.

Apples are great because they fill you up pretty good. They are great with peanut butter too.
