Secured Wireless Internet Connection.?

Is there a way to get into my neighbors wpa-psk WiFI connection? It's secured and has a password on it. I only want to browse the internet while I'm at home. (Currently at the library).

(No smart *** comments, please and thank you <3)

You need to be well versed in hacking. And to be honest it is very hard to crack a WPA secured link. It comes literally down to how lucky you are and how smart they were about password, my advice get a net connection

Another way to secure your network would be to access the router configuration page. Somewhere in the security section should be a MAC Access List. To find out the MAC address of your computer, click start>run type cmd and hit enter. then type ipconfig /all. Make a note of the Physical Address provided. At the MAC Access List put in the MAC address of all devices you want connected to the network. You will have to do this whenever a device not in the list wants to access your network, which is no different from setting up a WPA or WEP key, you will still have to input data either way. You may want to change your local ip address from the default which can be found in a LAN settings page. Also, change the default username and password for router configuration access.

It is possible to break the code for wpa but you need to be well versed in cryptology. Note that this would be illegal and could get you into a lot of trouble.

You could ask them for permission, offer to pay a few $$ a month. Otherwise, no, what you're asking would be illegal.

    Simple answer, nope....

Any other answer, including trying to 'crack" it, or comments about it being illegal are irrelevant, as you probably don't have the skills to get into their signal anyway....
