How good of a school is Hampshire College?
I am from California and leaving the state for me would be inconvenient at most. is going to Hampshire Collage worth it? if you please could give me a most unbiased response i'd appreciate it.

It's a good college, but a weird one. Very hippie - they don't give grades, just written evaluations (like Santa Cruz), and people tend to wear dreadlocks, are vegetarian/vegan, don't shower much, the 'dorms' are pretty bad, and some of them simply don't wear shoes. I wouldn't go there myself; I didn't even like visiting when I was at Smith.
