Do you think President Obama should take on Financial Reform or Immigration Reform next?

He got the big one out of the way, now he is clear to focus on other parts of his agenda.

Here is how I see it:

1. The Economy (Ongoing) Stimulus and Jobs Bills are still working to fix the economy.

2. Health Care (Done) although I think improvements such as a Public Option and Medicare Buy in are in the works but probably won't happen until this fall or next year.

3. Financial Reform

4. Fixing the Education System

5. Climate Change

6. Immigration Reform

7. Allowing Gays to serve in the Military

8. Ending Iraq War

9. Closing GITMO

10. Ending Afghanistan War

Here is how I see it:

    1. The spendulus bill was a backroom brokered, pork infested, political reward fest. Congress voted for it, unread and un-debated. Obama signed it into law in violation of his own promise of a transparent government. Most of it remains to be spent because it was never designed to stimulate the economy. It was designed to reward the supporters of the liberals and then marketed to the people as a stimulus bill. Look at the jobs numbers, they remain stagnate and far worse after the spendulus bill.

    2. Health Care. Could be repealed and something reasonable that is not another entitlement may be set in place.

    3. Financial Reform... Tripling the debt in 100 days is not reform, it is an unprecedented recklessness imposed on the people.

    4. Fixing the Education System, get rid of the nanny mentality... Open the doors for non-union in the schools that do not indoctrinate the children into liberalism at such a tender age.

    5. Climate Change... Crap and Trade is a tax. A tax. regulation and mandates to reduce carbon can be accomplished without shackling the people to even more tax.

    6. Immigration Reform. Simple. Enforce the laws we have. Add an amendment that states that at least one parent must be an American citizen. The excuse of supporting anchor babies would be gone. The staggering cost to our nation would be greatly improved.

    7. Allowing homosexuals to serve in the Military if it's don't ask, don't tell.

    8. Ending Iraq War... This seems to be winding down.

    9. Closing GITMO is a bad call. The enemy does not have constitutional rights.

    10. Ending Afghanistan War is what everyone wants. There is a way to do it, and if done wrong there will be another twin tower situation.

There are a lot of issues they should be taking on. It seems to me Al Qaeda is his number one priority at this point, which it should be. Financial reform is going to be a tough one. The issue is at what level should these problems be addressed, and at what level are they occurring? I really think they should just do something about derivatives, which is where I see the biggest problem occurring. I think a major problem is they got rid of glass steagall, and it is going to be impossible to go back and fix that. I actually just applied to several jobs with the SEC hoping to work in this area.

Immigration reform has been an argument for some time now, and the federal government is asleep on the wheel in this one. Oklahoma has observed 'law 1804' to handle the concern. greater states are thinking comparable law. i desire the feds awaken and guard this concern.

Financial Reform. I oppose any immigration reform that allows the illegal aliens that are here now to stay.

Education, and Economy, while the economy is slowly growing, many people who lost their jobs are being permanently left behind, we need job creation in the manufacturing industry

I think he should take on prison gang wars reform, from the inside while doing 20-25 years at hard labor without ANY chance for early release.

he'll probably tackle, or two hand touch in his case, the immigration reform. The reason, he has to have someone to buy his health care plan...

Sorry to tell you, but the "Big One" isn't out of the way yet. We're just now finding out what was actually in the 1,700-page bill, and all the news isn't good. In the final analysis, it may be a pyrrhic victory.

He should end the drug war, 350 billion dollars and counting
