Who wrote the Health Care Bill passed by Congress?

The politicians don't seem to know what is in it and surprises keep coming out re: contents and footnotes.

Someone told me lobbyists wrote it. Is this true? Don't they have a vested interest?

This is a serious question that needs to be asked/answered on national television. Here is what is known.

-No member of the House or Senate wrote it (none take credit).

-The bulk of it was prepared before any "debate" took place.

-The president broke his campaign promises (5 days to read before signing and transparency).

-The president surrounds himself with lobbyists, special interest groups and Marxists.

-Those who voted for it are exempted from it.

-It bails-out the S.E.I.U. (one of the largest contributors to the Obama Campaign) at the taxpayer's expense and then exempts them from the cost.

-For the first time in American history, we had to pass a bill to find out what was in it.

-Most of the the know and "bipartisan" fixes for health care (Tort reform/interstate competition/ etc.)did not make it in this 2700 page bill.

-The big rush to cram it through was all about political timing. Anger will die down a little and some benefits will begin before the 2010 election, yet the drastic increase in premiums and taxation will start just after the election.

The truth is, those who wrote it do have a vested interest.

Ezekiel Emanuel wrote the Healthcare bill, he is brother to rom emanuel, past chief of staff, now mayor of Chicago. Ezekiel was on TV yesterday Nov. 4, 2013. I didn't watch all of it. He also wrote a book, called "The Complete Lives System" The basic theme is the bases of the health care bill. The people who are the most productive will get the better health care. The elderly will be encouraged to pass on, this practice is happening in England and the Netherlands. They stop feeding the patients and withhold water and medicine. This is what we can expect from the bill. The president did not explain this to congress or at least not in the open. Because this would violate present day conscience. The children with major problems will not be treated. The president has spoken of this from the very beginning, "the greater good" "not the individual but the collective. This is classical Marxism, communism, or socialism, what ever we call it. It's about control, he is not interested in American health care. He desperately wants to weaken America. There will be two classes of people, One will be the elitists ruling class, unfortunately the other class will be the ruled over.

probably SEIU had a hand in it as Obama does not do anything without SEIU present.

Also SEIU gets a good deal out of it.

I also wonder why they put school student loans in health - care bill looks like this admin wants to control the health - care and student loans.

10 Things Every American Needs to Know about the Health Care Bill:

    1. Once reform is fully implemented, over 95% of Americans will have health insurance coverage, including 32 million who are currently uninsured.

    2. Health insurance companies will no longer be allowed to deny people coverage because of preexisting conditions--or to drop coverage when people become sick.

    3. Just like members of Congress, individuals and small businesses who can't afford to purchase insurance on their own will be able to pool together and choose from a variety of competing plans with lower premiums.

    4. Reform will cut the federal budget deficit by $138 billion over the next ten years, and a whopping $1.2 trillion in the following ten years.

    5. Health care will be more affordable for families and small businesses thanks to new tax credits, subsidies, and other assistance--paid for largely by taxing insurance companies, drug companies, and the very wealthiest Americans.

    6. Seniors on Medicare will pay less for their prescription drugs because the legislation closes the "donut hole" gap in existing coverage.

    7. By reducing health care costs for employers, reform will create or save more than 2.5 million jobs over the next decade.

    8. Medicaid will be expanded to offer health insurance coverage to an additional 16 million low-income people.

    9. Instead of losing coverage after they leave home or graduate from college, young adults will be able to remain on their families' insurance plans until age 26.

    10. Community health centers would receive an additional $11 billion, doubling the number of patients who can be treated regardless of their insurance or ability to pay.
