I'm looking for a recipe for BBQ spare ribs...?

I would like to cook them in the oven for a while first & then put on the pit. At what degrees & how long do I cook them in the oven before putting them on the pit?

    Try 250 for a 2 or 3 hours

    I par-boil mine first for 1/2 to 1 hour.

I stud an onion with cloves & bay leaves.

But you could do the same in the oven at 250F.

    Put them in at 375.

    For about 30 minutes.

And then put them on the grill or wherever.

And for sause add, coca cola or pepsi to the sauce and a little brown sugar.

It tastes great and gives it extra flavor.
