What is the technical explanation of double jointed?
I am extremely double jointed! I can do weird things with my arms from bending one of my fingers back to lay on the back of my hand to clasping my hands behind my back and bringing them over my head to in front of me without unclasping my hands! I am curious about how it works. When my friend fell and hyper extended her elbow she had to sit out volleyball for several days. Yet I was able to reenact it hyper extension and all without the slightest hint of pain. What exactly is a double joint and how does it work?

You have hyper-flexible joints, its a genetic dominant gene, count your blessings, people with hyper-flexible joints experience less sprains and other joint injurys.
