I've recently started expanding my horizons a bit lately by listening to Metal bands outside the typical places(primarily North America and Europe).  In particular I've started getting into the Asian Metal scene with bands such as these;

Anyway my question is do you know any good Asian metal bands?

BQ?  Just out of curiousity, how would you rate the bands on my list?

BQ2?  Do you know any metal bands from South America? Africa? or the Middle East?  I already know of Krisiun and Sepultura from Brazil.

Try listening to Dahong Palay and Death By Stereo from the Philippines. I know there is a band named "Death By Stereo" but they're American and they're not what I mean...Search Youtube for "Kapatiran ng Bakal at Apoy" by Dahong Palay and "Anito" by Death By Stereo...

.......I agree with No more and vinster, LOUDNESS is a great asian metal band from Japan...

My sister's favorite band is one called Dir En Grey. They are from Japan. I actually saw them with her when they did a tour of the United States. I think they are pretty good.
