how do i make my wireless network private?

I live in an apartment complex and right now my wireless that i pay for is unsecure which means anyone can use it. how do i change it to be security-enabled???

    Go to your wired computer, and type in "192.168.0.1" (without the quotes) and then enter your username and password. If you've never set up a username and password for this router before, the default should be:

    Username: "admin" or leave it blank...not sure which one it should be.

    Password: "password"

    Next, you need to navigate to your wireless section, which should be there on the opening page on the left hand side. You can then enable WPA, and enter a password. This password will have to be known by all computers that connect to your router.

    Go to your wireless computer, connect to your network. It will now ask for for the network password, enter it, and you're ready to go. Now any computer that wants to connect to your network will have to know this password. And now no one can steal your bandwidth! =)

    do you know how to log into your router

    in security mode WPA2 personal

    need to make a new connection on our laptop now too

    change password or webkey

    SSID change the name and DO NOT BROADCAST IT so they won't see the connection

    if you need help getting into the router im or email me talk you though it
