The gigantic list of Indie Rock, Metal, Prog Rock, underground Hip-Hop, and Jazz!?
Hi! I've been focused on mostly classic rock lately and it's showing on my ipod. I'd like to balance it out a bit with some other great music, both modern and classic so please do me a favor and list a few of your favorite bands and artists from the aforementioned genres and their best albums so I can go on a torrent downloading rampage since I have nothing better to do this Spring Break! Of course, I don't expect everybody to have as multifarious a taste in music as I do, so if you can only name some emcees or just some metal bands, go ahead. And by the way, I'm probably not gonna listen to a lot of these until they go on my ipod so they better be good!
BQ: I'm afraid I might run out of space on my computer. It's about 60GB full but only about 10 of those gigs are music and data we (me and the family) use. Where can I look for stuff that's taking up space so I can open up more music space?
BQ2: What's the last movie you watched that you would rate at least 9/10?
BQ3: What's the most space iPod touches come in and how expensive are they?

BQ3: I think 64 GB. The Classic has 160 GB.

Rock & Roll. I've never been into the whole hip hop/rap thing, country is awful, heavy metal is too screamy, jazz and classical (sorry if this offends anybody out there) is more for old people. If I had to put them in order, it'd be Rock, Hip Hop, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Country, then Classical.

Uh Huh Her - Common Reaction
Voicst - A Tale of Two Devils
The Heavy - The House That Dirt Built
Nightwish - Once
Tech N9ne - Absolute Power

BA2: Hmm I watched The Descent Part 2 yesterday. The first half was stupid and the ending SUCKED, but the second half was awesome.
BA4: The 3rd generation iPod Touches have a 64GB model. It just came out a few months ago, the Apple store is selling them for $400.

Mastodon - progressive/sludge metal (2000's)
I suggest Blood Mountain since that's my favorite album of theirs but I highly recommend the other 3 as well.
Baroness - progressive/sludge (2000's)
Only listened to the Blue Record but I've heard good things about the Red Record.
White Stripes - blues/hard rock (2000's)
Try their debut and sophomore albums.
Try some classics as well like Steve Miller Band, Van Halen, Motorhead, and Queen.
1 - Uninstall some programs you don't use or delete files you don't need. Also defrag your computer with a software which will compress files and leave more space. I suggest Auslogics.
2 - 3/10 to Yuma was pretty cool. Really cool western remake.
3 - I'm not quite sure. Most likely 24 gigs which would run you at about $200-$300 but it could be more.

(meshuggah, opeth, tool, nile, decapitated, mastodon, aggaloch, between the buried and me,bloodbath,necrophagist,gojira,ihsahn,isis)--these are a few of my top death/prog metal bands.
(Emerson Lake and Palmer,Moody Blues, King Crimson)-three insanely good and weird prog rock bands. you have prob. heard moody blues, if not look up the song Tuesday afternoon. For ELP look up the song Tarkus and for king crimson look up 21st century schizoid man
random bands that dont fit into these two catagories but are just as good-- a mix of metal, prog and rock. Ahab, porcupine tree, karl sanders, melvins.
I promise you that these are all worth putting every album from every artist onto your ipod.
