What can I do with lemon peels?
I've been squeezing a lemon every day and making freshly squeezed sugar free lemonade which seems like a good thing to drink. I have had less colds this winter and feel great. Sometimes I'll have a recipe where I can use the lemon peel for lemon zest, but other than that, I throw out these lemon peels. Is there anything I can do with them other than grating zest for limited recipes?

well, if you're old enough to drink, you can make limoncello - you put the lemon peel (just the yellow part - peel the wite spongy side) with some vodka, let it sit for a week, mix it with sparkling water and a bit of sugar and have fun
or you can put, also only the thin yellow part in a bottle of olive oil, let it infuse and you'll have a great lemon flavored oil for salads.

A clean lemon finally ends up slightly more desirable than a teaspoonful of lemon peel. If the field doesn't say what the equivalents are, if I were you, i'd commence with about 1/2 a teaspoonful and paintings up as dried herbs and spices have a tendency to be more desirable than clean. you may continually placed extra in in case you like it, yet you won't be able to take it out. sturdy success!

You can use them for several uses. You can crash them and use them for cakes, sweets. You can also leave them on the sun to dry and take them in the next day crush them and use any blender to turn the peels into powder. You can use the powder as a facial scrub by mixing it with water and honey. Lemon peels are good for Acne treatment and help remove scars.
My friend works in a beauty salon and she always leaves ( lemon peels, potato skin, orange peels, apple skin..etc ) out in the sun in a clean plate to dry and the next day she crush them and blend them like powder keep it in a jar and use with water and honey or any kind of natural ingredient use it as a facial scrub.

Lots of great answers were given. You might want to consider making Lemon Marmalade or even a Lemon-Ginger Marmalade. Here's a few recipes I found online:

If you have a garbage disposal, throw the lemon rinds down the drain and then run the garbage disposal to produce a nice lemony scent and get rid of odors from foods you put down the drain.

Boil them in water till tender....them simmer them in a simple syrup till translucent.....dip in tempered chocolate and let harden. You could also do this with orange peels. Google chocolate covered peels.....these lil guys are addicting.
