I have a taskbar problem?

I'm not exactly sure of how to word this so please excuse the potential vagueness.

On my taskbar, where it shows the windows that you have open (it gives the title of the page), those have moved to the right side of the taskbar. It is really annoying me. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

    Try this:

To the left of the leftmost icon there may be a set of dots. If there is, grab it with the mouse and drag it to the left. If this works, right-click on the Taskbar and select Lock the Taskbar.

By the way, pushing the power button to shut down the machine is NOT a good idea and should be done only when there's absolutely no other way to shut it down. Shutting down at the wrong moment could corrupt your disk.

    Hope that helps.

If you have not turned the pc off since this has happened press the power button for 7 seconds to turn off the pc, when you Start back up it should be how it was before you messed it up.

The only other way is a lot of messing around pulling the boarder sections of the the task bar around or google a solution, it can be tricky to get back to the default.

also try a system restore to a few days ago.
