Now is this a dumb elected official or what?

Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Phoenix, said there already is rationing of health care because insurance companies have exclusions, lifetime caps and denials for pre-existing conditions. All that, she said, goes away under the new federal law.

Clearly, some Dems are too stupid to think. Just because the bill says they can't deny coverage for pre-existing conditions...it says nothing about what the companies can charge for premiums and copays to cover added costs of expanding coverage. Kyrsten get your head out of your *** and try thinking for once.

Update:

It is true that there will be no set limitations on the fees that the insurance companies can charge patients with pre-existing conditions. The bill also has no section limiting insurance companies raising rates for everyone.

Now of course, other stupid Democrats will say that Republicans are only interested in saving the profits for the insurance companies. If that was even close to being an accurate statement, then they would have voted for a bill that will give insurance companies 30 million new paying customers.

Update 2:

Yes, Will I did read the bill, though clearly you didn't.

If you have facts that the CBO doesn't have that proves rates will go down and that this is a good plan, then you would have listed them in your response.

According to several interviews with Senators, the bill does not prevent someone from paying a small fine each year for not having insurance, and then buying insurance only when s/he is sick.

People are really going to abuse this system. It may be the worst legislation passed by any nation in the history of the world.

People with pre existing conditions will be able to get insurance that is true but it will be in a high risk category. there will be no difference between HC high risk insurance and automobile high risk insurance because of previous accident or traffic violations. This is a bone Obama had to throw to the insurance companies.

Conservatives would rather defend the poor little Insurance conglomerates from the big bad paying customers.
