Call of Duty MW2 matchmaking problems?
I own MW2 for the Xbox 360. I've downloaded both the update and new map pack, but I'm currently unable to be put into a match of any game type on Xbox Live.
Were I to search for suitable games of Team Deathmatch, the search would consistently return 0/50 good games found. If the game type was Search and Destroy, Domination, or any other game mode, the same thing would occur.
I understand that the update caused some problems for other players' Xbox Live accounts, but I can't find anything on the web about anyone else experiencing this particular problem. This has also been occurring for nearly 24 hours now-- ever since the update was downloaded. The internet claims that all of the glitches caused by the update that any website specifically addresses have been fixed. 24 hours is an unusually long time to be left experiencing this kind of problem, no?
Can anyone suggest any possible causes or solutions for this?

This Happened to my friend. To fix it we invited him to a private match then backed out and invited him to the regular MM lobby then we could play. IDK why it worked but I did. The Stimulus Playlist messed alot of things up and judging from the past it will be a little bit before IW fixes it

I've read that a lot of XBOX 360 players are all saying the same thing. I personally don't know what could be causing it since I don't own an XBOX 360.

Well since the update and download of the new map packs, I do find that matchmaking has become somewhat difficult. I would enter games on the first ping which was 50, now it will ping all the way to 90 before it finds me a match

i have the same problem. but i did not download the stimulus pack. mine goes into the search and it will take 5 mins to find a match. i have had this problem since i accepted that update.

yeah that happens to me for all time reason its my connection. reason i take advantage of my associates cyber web:) so if u think of its ur ps3, its no longer its in basic terms the relationship:) desire this enables guy
