What kind of wasp is this?
Over the last 3 years or so, we get these bright orange wasps flying around our house. http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h153/luckydog889... They aren't the usual brown/red wasps that most people get. The ones we have are somewhat larger, fatter and definitely meaner than the others and their sting is much much worse. They will chase and sting you for almost no reason at all where the others normally just mind their own business unless you bother them. We can't hardly walk outside without these things bomb diving us. I don't know where they came from or how to get rid of them. Does anybody know what kind they are (please check out the link above) and how to get rid of them. They have nest in under the eves of our house around all sides of our home.
I live in Northeast Arkansas
I made a mistake when I said the nests were UNDER the eaves of the house. They are INSIDE the eaves directly beneath the roof where you can't see or get to them.

I took a special interest in this because I'm an entomologist. I checked in Arnett's "American Insects" but was unable to find the species of hornet that is troubling you. That's rather odd, because something as conspicuous and important as a red hornet should be in there. I'd conclude that your hornet may be a new introduction (i.e., new since 2000 when Arnett's book was published). Probably, somebody has already reported it, but just in case, I'd suggest that you report it to your state department of agriculture or a county agricultural agent. It resembles the bald-faced hornet, Dolichovespula maculata, but it's the wrong color, and there are other details that don't match up exactly.
In any case, you have to get rid of these pests one way or another. You can wait until night, knock down their nests, and burn them, or you can just call a pest control company. Good luck.

There is a wasp that's flying around in N Arkansas which is just called "The Red body Wasp" and the one in the pic could be a new kind and it could be related to the one inthe link.
