Rate the degree of damage caused by down syndrome?

idk if i should do it on a scale of 1-10 or what buttttt

i have to rate the degree of damage caused by down syndrome.

    I'd say at least an 8. Those people have peculiar physical characteristics in addition to fairly severe retardation. Their life expectancy is much shorter than average. They have a higher risk for developing Alzheimer's. On top of their troubles from their developmental disability, there are lots of mean people in society who bully them.
