I certainly hope so. Conservatives dislike paying for other people, so why should I pay for people when they become obese and get diabetes or heart disease? Sounds great to me.
Promotes health, raises more money through taxes. Glorious.
Make cigarettes $20 per pack while you're at it. Make a 2-liter $10. Sounds great.

I'm sure hoping that ur not talking about the US because i'm a soda fanatic. There rarely goes a day where i don't have some type of soda. But i suppose it would improve a lot of people's health....including mine haha.

Hell yes... I'm sick of seeing our Nation's landscapes littered with soda bottles. A national tax wont' stop the drooling douche bags who litter, but it will encourage others to clean up after 'em.

It is a great idea because is nothing but carbonated sugar water and very unhealthy. Parents let their kids live on pop and happy meals.

We will start drinking water. I dont pay $2 for a glass of (ice) at a fast food place and they want more
if you eat at a decent restaurant.

No I don't drink pop and I still think it is a bad idea. If we let that happen soon whenever there is a diet fad the government will justify raising taxes on certain foods.
