Going to France for Two Weeks as an Exchange Student- What should I bring?

In 10 days I am going to Rouen as a foriegn exchange student, so I will be living in someone's house and travelling all around France during the day. Any ideas for things I should pack? I don't want to forget anything. Thanks!

That all depends on your own personal needs. I suggest you check with your foster home in France and find out what will be provided to you during your stay in their house such as towels, etc.. Just check the weather so you'll know what type of clothes and shoes to bring.

convey the minimum of toiletries, manufacturers you like and a few million/2 of notwithstanding else you have been thinking of. you will probable discover even then, that maximum of them by no skill come out of the suitcase, so which you're dragging it each and each of ways over just to pull all of it returned returned. And in case you finally end up procuring extra luggage, it is a touch high priced lesson. convey the bare minimum, and save room interior the suitcase for each and all the pressies you will prefer to take residing house. And as many $$$ as you like, you would be wanting relaxing spending it, yet you do not actual could desire to bypass overboard there the two. to boot, as a school trip, maximum of a while would be accounted for and busy. savor it. i became in France a pair of years in the past, and it became an rather exciting journey. do not convey residing house something electric powered until the voltage is the comparable the place you reside. Europe, Australia and another international locations are the comparable. US is distinctive.

I'd bring a can of mace or something to protect yourself with. Never know who you're going to run into and we know how attractive our American girls can be! Watch "Taken" and you'll understand!
