Has Republican opposition to Obama's health care reforms backfired?

For the most part, Republicans opposed to vast and sweeping changes proposed (and now passed) by the Obama administration. Anger at and vilification of these proposals have often accompanied this opposition, both by members of Congress and more generally by conservative America. But has this opposition misfired? Have Americans been turned off by the way in which Republicans carried out their campaign against health care reform? Or will this be a boon for Republicans in November?

I do not believe the Republican response has backfired, I think people are more aware what is going on.

I do believe many conservatives need to reach out to the black community and win their support to help defeat Obama's Agenda, but this can only be done when anger is not misguided.

Show African American why this Bill and the Obama's Agenda will cost "every" American, not just whites, the rich, but every American.

    God Bless

they could do it on account that's a poor bill that's undesirable for usa and undesirable for individuals. there is an infinite distinction between this and Social protection and Medicare. the two considered one of those have been exceeded bipartisanly with a majority of the two events helping. however the only bipartisan vote for the Democrat wellbeing Care reform replaced into the competition to it. yet another significant distinction is that a majority of people weren't vociferously against Social protection or Medicare as they're in contrast undesirable bill. As for elderly electorate, in factor of fact that this bill will yet their Medicare income coverages (used via some 35% of the elderly) and threatens to much greater cut back the wellbeing care provider repayment rates, which will greater incur a help interior the kind of Medicare sufferers that docs will address. between the main energetic communities in contrast bill have been the senior electorate. i come across that loads of those motives are extremely compelling adequate to call for a repeal attempt.

No. Realclear politics poll still says only 40% of the people support the health care bill while 51% are against it.

Democrats hope people have a short memory. We don't.

    Quite the opposite is true.

The Obama so called health care plan will bankrupt The United States of America.

The Republicans have correctly pointed that out.

Also the Republicans have correctly pointed out that Obama used bribes to individual Congresspersons to get them to vote for the bill. Without those bribes the Obama so called health care bill would not have passed.

I don't think so. Polls (for what they are worth) continue to show that the majority of Americans are angry with the current administration. I don't care for the ridiculous tactics it took to get this health care law passed...when the Dems couldn't get this same bill passed when they had the fillibuster-proof supermajority. That should give anyone pause that this law is not in the best interest of our country.
