The Browns definitely got the better end of the deal. Who the hell is Alex Hall?

I can't believe the Eagles would make such a dumb trade, omg. What a horrible horrible trade. The Browns definitely got the better end. I still am shocked that they would commit such stupidity and trade Sheldon and Gocong(two decent players) for a 4th and 5th rounder, ridiculous. Not only that, but Sheldon Brown was an EAGLE, he was with us for a while...now the only player left from that 04' Super Bowl team is David Akers(Special Teams Kicker) and possibly Donovan Mcnabb(If he doesn't get traded).

I can partially see why they're making all these changes though, like Joe Banner said "You can put the same players on the field each year and expect different results".

trading sheldon brown? Methinks Philly may be about to bite on that trade idea with Oakland for Nmadi Asomugha and some picks for McNabb. As much as I hate the Eagles, itd be nothing short of stating the obvious saying they'd have the best secondary in the league with that move.

Personally, I think both sides ended up about even. The Browns gained a pretty good corner and definitely a better (starting) linebacker for a bench backer.

Meanwhile, Philly gained 2 draft picks. If they take Nmadi, not only did they improve their secondary, but potentially add more picks to their arsenal.

Good move by both.. wont lie.

Sheldon was unhappy with his contract from what i understand. The have a lot tied up in guys like Macklin, Samuel, Jackson and just picked up Vicks option. Even in a uncapped year it was a good idea to get what they can for trade. I would have asked for more but we'll see where Andy Reid is going with this

Eagles got rid of salary problem, Browns got the player. But eagles can use the picks.
