Professional mixes without gear?

Hey guys,

I wanted to start mixing songs for a while and maybe make a hobby out of that 'cause I've always been interested in DJs and that kind o'stuff.

What I wanted to ask; Can you make professional mixes (Like Kry-Lon, Surkin or Bobmo) without gear - only with a program?

This may sound a little silly, but are there any DJs you could list who just use programs?

    Sorry, but I don't see how you can do professional mixes without the gear. You need to record the tracks separately to be able to mix them as you want. You simply can't do this with a single input on your computer no matter what software you have.
