What is the average power/force of a spring power bb gun?

ya been looking at getting a bbgun that is good and powerfull and ui need to know what the normal power of a gun is. most of the ones on trade me (NZ eq. of EBAY) say that they are 190 - 270fps and 0.12g .is this about average or what?

    Those velocities sound about right for a cheap airsoft gun.

    As for spring BB guns (the ones that shoot 5.1 grain BBs)... Most of those seem to claim 250 to 350 fps with 5.1 grain BBs for between .8 and 1.4 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.
